“….The rain brings a certain silence with it, like everything must be still and quiet to understand the rain itself. The rain calms everything, makes it all slow down, and it seems you’re left with nothing but your thoughts…”-Tamidra

Well, welcome to a random thought. As I sit in my office, it seems all that I can really do is listen to the rain. The rain has an unusual way of speaking ever so delicately to you about your past, present, and future. It does it through images. It opens your imagination and your memories. Truthfully, I don’t know why I felt like writing this post. I feel like I’m writing without making a point; however, I also feel like I’m trapped in a thought bubble. I believe that all I can do in this moment is breathe, smile, and be thankful that God has allowed me to see another day. These are rather hard days, but they’re days that matter. This moment is a moment to pause and reflect on how life isn’t at all easy, but I’m still alive. Perhaps, in a poetic sense, that’s what rainy days are for.
