Negativity Cannot Steal Your Crown

“…the bitter world, with all of its desperate measures, tried to steal her crown. The world of negativity despised her jewels of happiness, her treasures of peace, her mysterious grace…the discontent world could not understand what created the indestructable crown of her spirit. The troublesome world tried to steal her crown; yet, the crown of her spirit never belonged to the weary world, and the spiteful world could never have her crown…”-Tamidra

Negativity will do everything in its power to destroy you by distracting you from your purpose. It can see the value you hold, but it doesn’t want anyone else to see it. Negativity wants you hidden in the shadows, and if it can convince you that you’re less than who you are-negativity will cause you to destroy yourself. Negativity’s purpose is to steal the crown of your purpose.

It cannot have it.

Your purpose was specifically designed for you. It was never meant for negativity to have. Life has many ways of trying to make you feel less than who you are. Sometimes negativity wants you to focus on your weaknesses, failures, and delays in life. Guess what? No one is perfect. If we all sat around focusing on all of our imperfections, no one would accomplish anything. You’re going to experience failure. You’re going to make mistakes. You’re going to have weaknesses. You’re going to experience delays. All of that is reality, and it happens in some way to every single one of us. There is no such thing as a perfect life or a perfect person. So take the pressure off of yourself.

Now listen…

Hold on tight to the crown of your purpose. It’s so valuable, negativity is trying to steal it and destroy it. You are so valuable, negativity is spending all of its energy trying to hold you back. Focus on your God-given purpose. Focus on your strengths. Focus on what you’re doing right. Do everything you can do to surround yourself with positive people. Sometimes that is difficult because unfortunately some of the most negative people are people you cannot easily escape from. That’s why it is important to read positive blogs, or friend positive people on social media, or find some form of positivity wherever you can.  You’ve got things to do, people to see, places to go, and a crown to hold on to.
